The construction of the school campus is financed entirely through donations. Every contribution helps to make this project a reality. All funds are used exclusively for the construction of the school and for covering the associated costs.

KALAMU is a registered non-profit organization in Germany. This means that all donations are tax-deductible. For donations of 100 euros or more, we are happy to issue a donation receipt upon request. For smaller amounts, a simplified proof of donation - such as a bank statement or a screenshot of the transaction - is sufficient for tax purposes. To receive a donation receipt, please provide your postal address and email address either in the reference field of your bank transfer or by email to info@kalamu-verein.de, along with a short note indicating your donation.

Ergänzend zu einer einmaligen Spende, besteht auch die Möglichkeit einer regelmäßigen Unterstützung des Projekts in Form der Übernahme einer Patenschaft für die Schule. Durch die Übernahme einer solchen Patenschaft kann ein dauerhafter Beitrag geleistet werden, der nicht nur den Bau, sondern gerade in den ersten Jahren nach Eröffnung auch den kontinuierlichen Betrieb und die nachhaltige Entwicklung der Bildungseinrichtung gewährleistet. We have deliberately chosen not to offer sponsorships for individual children. In our view, such sponsorships risk creating inequalities or competition among students, as some may receive more attention or resources than others - or none at all. They may also unintentionally foster dependency rather than promote equal access to education. Our goal is to support the school as a whole and to ensure that all students benefit equally from the resources available.
